First of all where the hell has he been?
Second of all I just heard his name on the radio. Apparently The Hawk (97.5 now) was at Amwell Tire and Auto this weekend and Bob was there. The DJ actually called him Unstable Bob Gable. LOL!

Of course - Unstable Bob is famous!
Last I heard he was working second shift, so he couldn't make it to any real gatherings. Not sure why he hasn't signed up here, or even if he knows about it.

He's a legend here in NJ! He was probably beating up on a ricer that cut him off or something.

Tim, he's not the guy that used to have the 32v Dominion head in his trunk... or was that him?
does this guy live near Hillsborough? and does he own that AMX on his web page? I think I might have seen this guy in the new auto zone here in H-boro  ! Some guy was in there, looked just like him, and was talking about a T-type that he was working on, then he brought up that he had an AMX. I was possibly in the presence of a legend and I didnt even know it.

that's him. he's sold off his f-bodies, so he doesn't think he needs to be signed up here. he was signed up on the other NJ f-body site, you know, the one that isn't around anymore... he was still trying to hang with the CJCFO guys, last i heard, but that wasn't working out so well. you may be able to catch him in at the local cruise nights during the summer.

I -think- I met this guy late last year at a CJCFO Fudds meet. Wasn't his wife in the hospital at the time? If its the same guy, never heard what happened after that meet.

I guess that's him, lol.
Last I talked to him must have been 3 years ago. He wanted me to come over and tune his TBI on a big block engine.

That is scary, I don't think I've ever seen him that happy! Other than when he's beating up ricers.

Unfortunately the SRT-4 was murdered last Jan by a scumbag in a E250 who ran a red light. It has since been replaced by an 87 Buick T-Type.

Take this as you will Bob, but thank God that little rice rocket got totalled. Atleast I can respect the turbo......afterall that's what you used to preach back in my cabin boy days.

Wrong mentality, bunky. That was my first brand new car in 18 years, and I did ALOT of research before getting it. And with a few simple bolt ons I was dealing death to a lot of would be "fast cars." Plus it was a fairly economical and comfortable ride for my 80+ mile commute. The reason I didn't get another one is due to the f'd up NJ insurance rules I couldn't sue the scumbag who hit me, so I had to eat my 5g downpayment. I said f' it, and bought the T-Type outright. And I'm having to do A TON of suspension work to make that G body handle anywhere near as good as the Neon. An SRT-4 is eons away from being a "Ricer." That is until the crack smokin' Honduh wannabes get their dikbeeters on 'em.
