I was heading down RT46 in the Dover area to go to Autozone, I needed some Anti-freeze to do a Radiator flush. Anywayz, a late 80's supra with NY plates flies by, the ricest thing I've ever seen. It had a fart can exhaust, white aluminum fin that puts a 69 Superbird's to shame, dirty primer gray with mud streaks, and two hispanics in driver/passenger seat. I was craving eggrolls and eggdrop soup when I heard it.
So we hit a red light in a four-lane part of the highway. The passenger was speaking spanish, said some **** and laughed, then he starts revving it. So I'm like OK whatever. I figured I might definately lose, cuz i thought it was the Turbo edition. I played it cool, had the T-Tops off, my bling-bling shades were on (adds a cpl HP). The light hits green...he was slipping the clutch, so I slowly start so I can get the car to hook, and I floored hit. I hit second and put half a car on him. I was roughly at 4000 RPMS in 2nd when he started to catch up about a 1/4 car away. I hit third and put a good car and a half on him. The next traffic light turns yellow, so I shut down. I was hoping for a round 2 but he ran the red light, doing the ricer flyby and thats when I realized it was the Non-turbo edition.

Not bad for an allstock grandmother 305 :-D

step 1 is free mods. step 2 is posi and gear. teh 2.73 peg leg you are rocking now is killing that car. you can do a junkyard 3.42/3.73 drum brake posi for cheap and knock nearly half a second off you 1/4 times.
