Watching it before I go to work.
Seems like the big battle is between the new Astons vs the C6-Rs. Its going to be interesting, both cars are all new for this year.
Good luck to the C6R team, kick some Aston ass.

watched part of teh early coverage. looks like the C6-R is handling itself very well. although the word "underdeveloped" was mentioned a few times. apparently gm was at least partially caught out by a rules interpretation about 2 months ago and had to rework some development parts to conform.
vettes are definately fast on the straights. aston may get away with 1 or 2 fewer fuel stops than the vette.

And to add to it, they finished 5 and 6 overall, which I think I heard is the highest Corvette has ever finished overall.
GM is having a big year. Cobalt SS is winning in Grand Am and Drag racing, C6R just won LeMans, The Pontiac Prototype cars swept 1-2-3 at Rolex 24hrs, beating Lexus and BMW, and the CTS-V's keep ahead of the back in SCCA Speed World Challange GT racing.
And GM doesnt make performance cars....BAH!!
