whats better on insurance 4th gen formula or trans am, or is it about the same

i think it goes by the size of the motor and the amount of safety equipment. about the only difference vetween the formula and TA is that there is less optional equipment on the formula (no aero kit, no electric windows/locks/cruise etc). i think if they're from about the same year then they should be the same, insurance-wise.

the formula is a 93 and the t/a is a 2000 i know the t/a will be more because its newer i just want to know how much of a difference it would be

If you go to some insurance websites (I think State Farm does / used to do it) there is a program that allows you to fill out some basic info to get an idea of what your insurance may be like. There are all kinds of disclaimers about it not being totally accurate, however you can at least compare.
