Man that sounds sweet. What are you estimating power wise out of that? Sometimes I think about selling my engine and buying a new one.....then I remember I still have to pass emissions.

Sweet! Are you running a carb setup of FI? After all the trouble I've gone through with my car I thought I'd be around 450 or so at the flywheel but it still doesn't feel close in my opinion. I'm very disappointed. After my first shortblock ate itself up I figured this one would cure my problem....no such luck.
I'm assuming your car is a looker too? I've read some of your posts and thought I had some competition for the show in August. I wanted to do my interior before then but it's not gonna happen.
Also good luck with getting a magazine article. I'm talking to a mag right now about a story on my Z06 brake conversion. I have to finish my write up and send them my step by step pictures. They liked my before and after shots and want to see more so I'm hoping. Your best bet is to go onto their websites and see if there's an e-mail address or phone number for the editors and get in touch with them. Feature articles are a lot more difficult I think....they like tech articles.

yeah magazine articles are hard to get. my car is a looker i suppose, i personally dont think its anything special, but of course its my car so no one ever thinks that.... well unless youre arrogant. i am running the edelbrock pro flo efi with a carb plate system on it. i have ran a best of 11.3 @120, but that was me jamming the tire in the wheel well and a horrible 1.9 60' so im figuring as it was with the older combo i shouldve hit a 10.90/10.80 roughly. my goal is to have a 9 sec streetable car. i am still in the air if i am going to show it or race it, but tim and prevost keep nagging for racing hehe
I can get a 383 @ 430HP, 460 Ft lbs. for 5k and an LS1 for 6200
Details on this engine.

What made you choose the World block over the Dart? Sounds pretty sweet. What's the displacement going to be?

both blocks are the same for the majority reasons, he has never steered me wrong with selection of parts. i have my old engine block thats already prepped, just need to put a sleeve in it if anyone is interested, fully bluprinted, align honed, .030 over, etc.

Both blocks are pretty much the same. I'm not sure about the 350 block but I know with the others (400 SB, 454 BB, 502 BB) Dart has thicker walls which are better suited for big bore, nitrous, and/or forced induction.

yep the 350 blocks are like that too, larger cooling and thicker walls, the cylinders on a 350 can still be bored out to 4.125 like the other blocks, hehe
