13.653 @ 103.19 2.21 60' was best ET on street radials at 38psi, 3750lbs (with me), and a slipping trans with 20 degrees of knock retard in all of 3rd gear :( .
Car is a 1991 RS 350 TBI A4
Expecting to trap in the 105mph range and get a sub 13.5 on the radials. Then I'm putting on some slicks to get that 12 second stock GM longblock n/a TBI record... so long as the number 8 cylinder's rings are bad (same issue as hardcorez28).

Â*have you heard anything about next year it being 130 mph?well, i'm not sure of this, but my 60ft. timer on the track read my rear tires from ruffly 8' 5", added to the 60ft. marker, now would be 68' 5", but my best 60ft. on the rear tires was a 1.27 at Maple Grove's NMCA Race this year. so if front tires read the timer, 1.22 i would say, i have a parachute on my car now for safety, as for 130mph haven't heard anything yet. that 60ft. question was a good one. do you go to Island to race or test. thanks. nah i only ever raced at atco, i dont have a trailor and luckily live about a 1/2 hour away from atco. Â*i was actually going to go out to the grove for the nmca to run the real street class, the 30 mile cruise one, but my trailor connection fell through. Â*my buddy set the track record in that class with 8.90 pass in his notch on radials. he had hooking issues and ended up with a bad average. 9.4, 9.3, then the 8.90, so finished 4th i think.

It had a TH350 in it this year when that run was made. It will have a 400 or possibly a glide next year. It depends what kind of power the motor makes on the dyno this winter.

If you were to run a glide, it would be more consitent, but i thought about going to a glide, but the car would be slower, because i'm not winging the piss out of the motor, and between gear changes the rpms aren't there. JR1.

Hello once again everybody,
It's been awhile, my Camaro has been out of commission since last December. A connecting rod let loose at Atco and destoyed the 406 I was running. I was able to save the heads, manifold, and carb, well the heads needed some valves, springs and rockers if you can say thats saving them. My old best was 11.55@117 and I was pretty happy with that. Well with the help of K&M Speed Shop in Levittown Pa I put together a 383sbc. I've had it out at Atco 4 times so far and got a new best for the car at 10.933@126.55. I was a little worried about going down in cubic inches but the new motor seems pretty strong. Here is the timeslip numbers.

damn so much for guessing game. its actually 10.022. i was already staged and another car pulled up next to me and tried to stage. i stopped what i was doing and they backed the guy up all while i still had both bulbs lit and told me to go ahead. so the lights dropped and i took my time and went when i was ready.
