Woot

I don't know if anyone remembers, but in May when I got my engine in and Jon came to give it a rough tune...I took it to inspection the next day. Well...my emissions passed with flying colors...but the sadistic people at millville inspection station chose to fail me because my exhaust was too loud.

Me being a procrastinator, you better believe I waited the full 45 days to go get reinspected...the 45 days was up Sunday the 10th, so today I got yelled at by my dad for being late for that and took the car to Bridgeton inspection station, as everyone I knew recommended that as the place to go to pass.

After bringing the car in and all the stuff they do (shouldda heard it inside the building at 3000 rpms, )...I saw the guy scrape off my old rejected sticker as well as my old inspection sticker.

I really can't wait for Jon to get home from vacation as my car seems to be running quite rich now for some reason, and its idling a lot higher. The HC emissions standard is 148...mine read 148 on the button. Everything else was fine.

Last thing the guy says to me was, "What do you have in there, a 350?" I said, "Yep, brand new..." The guy says, "Sounds good," and gave me a grin. Take that millville.

but since ive been driving around with NO sticker since last august this is just a slightly legal way to keep putting it off

HaHa, you should have heard my old 93 Indy Pace Car with the Powerdyne supercharger when I took it through inspection at Baker's Basin on rt 1. With the Borla y-pipe and Flowmaster exhaust, the whole building was roaring. I figured they would fail it for the noise but it barely passed emissions and everything. And that was with no custom programming, just some SVO injectors, 160 t-stat and an off the shelf SLP chip.

I think it's kinda funny that they didn't question that the computer passed when you had no cats....

My Accord breezed throught the Deptford station this morning. My IROC failed last year cause of the high-mount. It pissed me off because I had my father check all of the lights as I pushed pedals. Apparently he didn;t realize the car had a high-mount...

I know that you tuned it, I just mean wouldn't even the dumbest person think something was wrong if the computer reported everything was hunky-dory and then they saw that the car had no cats? We got some real winners at that inspection station.....
