I found a house in the South Bound Brook/Somerset area that I'm considering buying because it will be perfect for my shop. The house is a colonial with a seperate 2 car workshop out back with a lift and other amenities.

I am highly considering buying it but would probably need to take on a roommate for about a year until my girlfriend (hopefully) moves in with me when she graduates next year.

Maybe some of you Rutgers people may be interested since it's about 15 minutes from College Ave. Or anyone else in the area for that matter. Just a warning in advance, I'm going to be picky about who I take in to live with me and you have to be committed to stay for a year.

Let me know.

Rent would probably be in the $500-$700 a month range plus part of the utilities.

Jon, I can only promise a year but we'll talk about it more. I'll try to stop by the Depot today or tomorrow.

Ian....if you're interested still PM me your phone number.

One thing I should mention that sweetens up the deal a little.

Anyone that moves in will have access to a lift pretty much anytime they need it as well as an engine hoist and a number of other shop tools.

And there's also the possibility of making some cash if cars come in that I need help with.

Man that's a sweet deal. Too bad I'm tied to my place right now. That and my love of farm animals.
