Ive been into swimming for years, and I consider my self fairly good. Although it has been mostly limited to the local pool, whenever I have the chance I love swiming in lakes & the ocean. I hope this class is as kick ass as I think it will be.

i'm a pretty good swimmer....my mom used to swim competitively, and i went down the shore/to my town's local lake/in my pool every summer. i'm pretty at home in the water.

i'm good in the water. my wife doesn't swim at all. one time she was messing with me at the deep end of the pool, so i threw her in. needless to say it took only seconds to realize she wasn't coming up so i went in after her. she was in the water less than 15 seconds. i'd like to teach her to swim, but i'd have to get a pool first. anyone seen the prices of in-ground pools lately? i'd need a second mortgage...

i've always wanted to try scuba. i had the opportunity in the bahamas a few years ago, but i was with my wife, and, well, she doesn't swim. lol.

"are you for scuba?"

I remember my parents talking a few weeks ago, our pool cost 12,000 30 years ago and its a gunite inground, now there like 60000, prices shure do go up.

i swim. this is my last summer swimming...i've swam winter/summer for about 10 years...before that i had been summer swimming on a club team since i was about 3. i had all kinds of aspirations to be sick fast in the pool until i hit highschool and my coach told me i wasnt built to be a swimmer...ah well...13th in the state this past year...

can openers are my particular specialty....at my local lake, we usually had competitions to see who could splash the lifeguard on duty at the diving boards. the guard was in a really high chair, almost as high as the high dive. i was the only one who could consistently get the guard wet, which usually led to me sitting out of the water for an hour or so :D no one's beaten my record of 25 sit-outs yet.
