It's this Friday 7/29 and I heard Car Craft is supposed to be there. I know a lot of musclecar guys that plan on going as long as the weather holds up. I plan on heading down to meet up with a couple of guys(69 Z28 with a crossram and a 69 RS/SS 396 Camaro).

I'll be heading down around 4:30 and probably be hanging around some of the first gen Camaro guys. I know somebody that was planning on bringing his 71 Hemi Charger so look for that car too.

Wow, there was a ton of sweet cars there last night and a ton of people. Â*I was there for about 3 hours walking around looking at the cars and then I hung out for a while near the 70 Hemi Charger and the two 69 Pace Cars. The funniest thing was the number of people that had bad hairpieces on. I don't know why some people bother. I was also shocked by the number of people smoking those cancer sticks. I was literally choking and coughing as I walked up and down the aisles of cars.

it was a cool show. i don't know where they pulled that "2000 cars" number from. they must have dragged it out from deep with in their asses. i would say there were 600-700 cars there for the cruise in at most.
some people had some really trick ****. there was a pro street 57 chevy there with a crazy looking twin weber side draft carb set up.
saw an early 40's plymouth that looked like it was about half way through it's build up, including a blown hemi.
tons of great 1st gens. talked to a few owners and justin and i flyered teh hell out of the place.
also finally got to meet bencar and see hsi ride in person along with 2 friends of his that rock 2nd gen t/a's.
definately recomend to everyone to try to make next months show if they can. i think august is scheduled to be the last one of this summer.

I was talking to that guy for a while. It's a '46 Plymouth that he built himself. He just got the motor finished and it dyno'd at 480 to the wheels. He's got actuators that slide the nose forward and tilts up. Also has a Chassis Works 9" rear, 4L80 trans, custom Hilborn injection, and the stock interior. That was one sick car.

Did any of you guys see the Chip Foose car? The level of detail work on that car was beyond belief. It was the green '60's Chevy surf wagon. There was also an original Baris car there too, a white and pink '50 Merc. I saw two friends there as well, one with the blue 427 AC Cobra, and one with the flat black '49 Merc. There was also a maroon Super Cobra Shelby Mustang convertible, two Hemi Chargers, a few old gassers, and countless other cars and trucks. Man, talk about motivation to get your project finished.

Yea, there were really some great cars there. Didn't have time to snap many pics because, like Tim said, we were flyering the hell out of the place (we didn't see the No Flyers in cars sign until we were about to leave). Got to see Mike and Steve, as well as Ben, but missed Jeff.....

I didn't really notice others flyering, but it didn't stop Tim and I either ;)

We were just a bit discret about it.

yeah, people are always handing them out there and tossing them in the cars. Ya get used to it when going to shows, so its no big deal. Later
