Just took a nice 25 minute walk around the complex here at work. There's a nice breeze blowing out of the WNW. These excessive heat warnings they keep giving us are soooo overrated.

You must be some kind of freak....it's 94.7 with a heat index of 105ish.
Feels like a blast furnace outside.

You must've taken that walk at 4AM before the sun was out. :)

You must be crazy. Walk? A walk downstairs to get some ice tea perhaps. Its so hot, just blinking makes me sweat.

I just checked the conditions and it's only 97 degrees with 52% humidity. That's nothing. It was more humid yesterday when we played volleyball after work for 2 hours. Wow, talk about a lot of sweat! Good thing they have Powerade on sale right now, that helps replenish the lost fluids. Worst of all, our keg kicked on Monday so we have no beer on tap at home until the new keg comes in.

well if you ever happen to kill someone you can definitly claim insanity cuz your nuts to go for a walk or pretty much anything in this heat...you might want to consider moving to arizona if you dont mind it though...i hear housing is cheap

It's even hotter in the city. Many of the homes don't have AC, so I'm sweating while trying to hold a conversation with these people. I can't stand it. I don't mind sweating doing sports or some other activity (not meant to be perverted, lol), but when I"m just sitting in my car or in someone's house, I don't want to look like I got out of a pool.

Im at work, and the A/C is feeling mighty fine inside the store. I am aware that outside those automatic doors its a scorcher, so when I parked my car I cracked the windows.

Here in Belle Mead it's 98.2 °F with a heat index of 107 °F with 42% Humidity. It was higher at 1pm... I don't have a/c, pity me.

Yea, we had someone's back window shatter in the parking lot a few hours ago due to heat buildup....

As long as my t-tops are off I find it bearable..
of course, inside the A/C is nice but it doesnt come down to the basement (where the comp is) so right now its somewhere in between a/c and outside
I have work in 10 min tho, 4 hrs of driving around delivering chinese food... we'll see how that is considering I'm wearing jeans
It wasnt that hot today, maybe im just used to florida humidity. But it seemed alright. Its pouring right now :D at least my car is getting washed!

You're insane! I just walked across the street to the parking garage to move my car and i my knees are sweating its so damn hot out....that and im wearing black pants due to my uniform. but other than that its still hot as hell outside. Well i at least get to patrol in the A/C :)

I wanna see some people take on my job just for kicks.  8 hours in the sun all day, picking up a guaranteed 13-18 Tons of stinky curbside garbage. Then go for a 30 minute ride in the cab of a volvo garbage truck that is exactly 124.2*F, no A/C, and 6 inch fans that blow out heat from the dashboard. Today absolutely sucked. I was already on my last bottle of water, at 7:30 this morning. And i still had 6 hours to go!!! This is why I lose 15-20 pounds in the summer months :-/

Man, it got cold last night. I had the fan going in the window and woke up at 4 am and it was cold in my room. It got down into the 60's upstairs in our house with just the fans going. Looks like a nice 7-10 days coming up at this point.
