First off, I'd like to say that it was a pleasure to meet two of the members of this group at the last 'Jackson Outlet Mall' 'Cruise Night.'
Due to 'C.R.S.', I can only name one of you, 'Tru2Chevy', but the other guy knows who he is :) .
Second, let me proudly announce that my T/A took a 1st Place at this past Sunday's 'Monmouth County Park Fair' 'Car Show.' This was no easy win, in that at this show, they judge according to 'A.A.C.A.' (Antique Auto Club of America') judging standards, generally considered to be the 'gold standard' of 'Car Show' judging. In over 15 years of going to this show, I've managed a couple of 2nd Place wins, but never a 1st, and I added to my joy, by taking a 3rd with my 1960 Plymouth, which has NEVER won at this show before. Now if Mom would only get better, walk again, and fully come back to herself, I'd be an extremely happy camper.
Last, but not least, I'm sorry to say, but I doubt I'll be able to make it to the Nats. Too many things going on in my life right now (i.e., Mom), and can't afford two long distance show only a week apart. The following Sunday is the Allaire Village 'Car Show', in Allaire NJ
Oh yeah, and Tru2Chevy, let's NOT forget what we talked about in Jackson.
