Ok, it breaks my heart to do this, but its worse to see the car laying there for the past few years. I'm thinking its time to let go of my 81. It needs a front clip, a motor, a wiring harness, and lots of TLC. The interior is torn up, and its starting to get rust spots. When I parked it, there was minimal rust on it, but sitting for 5 years has done its share of damage.
Here are photos from a few years ago:

Not much has changed except now the weeds cover the car, and again, its starting to get rusty.

What would be my ideal situation is to sell it to ANYONE who wants to rebuild/restore it, best offer takes it. The problem is, I do NOT want this car to go to parts or someone elses place where it can sit and finish rotting away. I would love to see it all done up and purty at Carlisle or driving around in a few years, unfortunately I just cant afford to do it right now and it will just get worse with age if no one tends to it.

It still has a trans, I'm not positive on it, but I think its a TH350, not a 400. Last time I drove it (when I argued with a guard rail) it was driving/shifting perfect, but obviously, that was a long time ago. Also still has a rear, I dont remember if it was posi or not.

The car is located at Island Dragway, it would obviously have to be towed out, and probably winched out of the weeds it currently resides in.

Little bit more:
Clear NJ title
Power windows
Maui blue with silver interior

If anybody would like to pick up this project to save the car, respond here or e-mail me 79CamaroDiva@comcast.net

Thanks!!
