North Photo Meet?

Since weather is gonna drop pretty soon, and leaves'll be falling... I wanna try to get a good group of people together to take some pics. Before we know it, itll be snowing :-/ . I was thinking somewhere in the Northern part, like Sussex or Warren, or maybe that Scenic Overlook off Rt 80 right past the hackettstown exit. (if i remember correctly). Give some ideas :)

I kno this spot right off of 9W in NY thats hot as hell n the roads up there r fun too. I bet the peir in peirmont would be nice too, get the Tappan Zee in the pic thatd be hot. Idk just an idea. I think somewhere by the beach myb hot too. Just some ideas.

Ya know, the Englewood and even better Alpine boat basins would be good, and can get the GWB and rest of the city in the background. Or, a little farther north on one of the Palisades Parkway rest areas. I do think something out here would be good... and uh, I could take pitures since my car would ruin the pictures :cry:

BDK, I know that scenic outlook your talking about, but when I past it, I didnt see much useable space. My personal opinion is to get as much nature in as possible state parks or just basic parks in general are the best. Thats what I like anyway.

I also got a JVC MiniDV cam. It takes great video but I dont consider myself good in editing. Im down whenever you guys are down.

Like August 21 or August 28.

I know some schools should be starting back up again, and it would be nice to catch everyone before they head off.

I start September 1st, but Im local so I dont count, and I dont work on Sundays.

Thats sounds like a plan. I dont work Sundays either, unless im desperate for money and overtime.

Id say the 21st, cuz the 28th is the day after the south jersey meet, right? Just my opinion, whichever works out best for everyone else.

I am sure if i get there early enough and ask some ppl kindly to move for the top parking lot we should be good. I went up last night with a friend that has a trans am for some photo's and there was barely anyone there. I think it would be a great idea the top parking lot is pretty big going towards the city. And then people could follow me back to the island i know all the backroads since it's 2 mins from my house. The only thing is you would have to get off exit 19 then get back on the highway and go another mile to get to the overlook. Some great pictures from up there. Great view in the backround of some fields and mountains. Lemme know who is intrested if we can get over like 8 ppl to go i'll be glad to meet up there and take some pics.
