I was just watching ESPN's 'NHRA 2 Day' and they did a story on Island. Anybody else see it?

i missed it. wish i had known it was on. i would have taped it and posted it up.
do they replay nhra2day any other time?
i wonder if i could contact espn and get a tape of teh segment. i will look into it

Really? Well, it was about a 6 minute piece and it was very well done. They talked about the hstory of the track, and how the first 200mph run was at Island. They interviewed a lot of people and showed a lot of cars runnin. It was really good.

Yeah, they filmed it during the National Open, so we knew it had a chance of being on at some point, but they never gave us a date. :( Hopefully we'll get a tape.

to the process and difficulties in obtaining the appropriate legal
review and clearances internally and externally since ESPN does not own
all rights.

The first priority for the use of our facilities and our production
staff is to meet the challenge of programming seven 24-hour networks and
five international feeds. Therefore, we are prevented from serving our
viewers in this manner due to the amount of time required to locate and
dub tapes for the volume and variety of single, individualized requests
we receive.

We regret having to take this position, and we hope you'll understand
the reasons behind it.
