ok, i dont know if you read my other post about my SS being all messed up, mainly fuel issues. but if not, as of now, I basically think i got 8 or so gallons of bad gas. I got $20 worth of "v-power" 93 octane at the Shell station on Goffle Rd, like 2 blocks south of the rt 208 underpass. If you know anything about that station pumping bad/mixed fuel in the past or you hear about anything in the near future that has to do with them, please let me know right away. I assume if it was them, other people will have/will bring it to their attention. I'm checking my fuel mixture tomorrow, and if thats bad, all hell will break loose when i show up there. my cell number is 201-914-2206 if you know anything. thanks. -Paul

hope everything works out man that sucks,,but there was someone on fbody.com in new jersey that had the same thing happen to them. he was on his way to the fbody.com event and his car just stalled out and it was becuz of the bad gas..he ended up having to pull his hole motor apart ..and guess what it wasss VPOWER. Im going to go try to fnd teh post ill post it up here if i can get it

Hey Paul, Kasey just gave me the heads-up about this post. That schell station is under brand new management, and they just recently put in a new system and all that jazz. I havent heard anything bad about them recently, but I'll defenitly keep my head up. If it happened to you im sure more town people will bring it up, and it will be in the paper by the end of next week.

I know for a fact though a few of the gas stations along lincon ave have real bad reputations for similar problems.

well i just about confirmed that there is diesel in my tank, not sure how it got in there, but wasnt there before i got gas there. Â*I drained about 1/2 a gallon and is much darker than gas should be and has a blueish,orange tint and is cloudy, Â*i then poured some of the mix on the ground and lit it, it burned at first then burned itsaelf out, and left a dark opily residue on the ground, a friend and i got known good gass and diesel and tried to burn each seperately, the gas burned 100% and left almost no mark where the puddle wass, Â*the diesel didnt burn at all(of course) then we mixed gas and diesel and burned that, just so happens it left a dark oily residue just like with my gas tank mix. Â*also when we compared that diesel/gas mix we made to the mix from my tank, my tank one was even darker, meaning a more concentrated diesl amount, all that in addition to my exhaust smelling like a diesel truck and smoking lworse than one. Â*add all that up and i think its clear to see i have a bad mix of fuel. Â*i doubt anyone would put diesel in my tank while parked at home, i have no enimies like that, and they would do damage to my cars exterior before getting that sneaky. Â*later today, im gonna try to get a gallon of vpower from that same station with a reciep so i can compare it, especially if this goes to a lawsuit level which it most likely will, so ill be getting a full new exhaust system, fuel filter, and gas tank. Â*disel was shopting 8 feet out my exhaust on idle and my puipes are elaking it so that cat be good for my cats of brand new magnaflow.

my fire copany was called there a few days ago for a gas spill, it was only about 5 gallons because of a hole in the pump line. dont think that helps your problem but it shows you how maintained the station is...
