does the porcupine have any quills left attached to it's body? Â*looks more like he hit a brood of them as opposed to just one...

best thing you could do for the dog is give him something to sleep so he doesn't have to endure you pulling all of those quills out. Â*if i remember correctly, they have a barb on the end of them, so it makes extraction very difficult. Â*you can usually pull them out better (like fish hooks) if you push them through and clip the barb off, then pull it out. Â*no dog will sit there and let you inflict more pain on it while you go through all of that.
