as you can see my time didn't print so we're guessing a 13.4@106 as my nose was to the back of the car in front of me. I had a terrible launch and didn't WOT untill 2nd gear. This was my first run ever so hopefully with a better launch and practice i can get the car to a 13.2 or so. Here's the slip.

congrats...looks more like a 13.5@105 but thats besides the point...1 run thats it? wtf were you at etown? get some more runs in...sounds like the car has a 13.2 or 1 in it for sure...once you get some good weather who knows...a 12 maybe.

I dunno..275 KDW's should have hooked better then 2.1.
I say we could see more if you went to Etown, despite how big and bad Atco is. Etown is good for first timers, Atco is more advanced you could say.

definitely. my old Camaro V6 pulled a 2.13 60', an SS with bigger tires should be able to do better than that.

i'll add my humble opinion to the list:

GEAR it AND GUT it! do both at the same time.

Ok, this is what you do next time. Pay attention. First do a burn out. Whip the wheel and 180 around so you are staged backwards. Then getout and open your hatch. Hopefully you have some bling in there. Leave it open. When the light goes green, gun it in reverse. Be sure to swerve back and fourth, FTW!!!

not to mention he got there at 8:30...that doesnt help the matter lol usually if you get to atco by 5:30 you'll get at least a 1/2 dozen runs in.

Yeah, which is why I suggest Etown, where they actualy have the option of going around to clean off your street tires. Probably my biggest pet peve about Atco, and other tracks, is the lack of a bypass around the water box.

would you like some cheese with that whine? When was the last time you actually raced at a race track?

year and a half ago, but what the **** does that have to do with atco not having a bypass?

your saying its such a big pet peeve but you havent raced in a very longn time...thats what it has to do with it. I pick atco over etown any day of the week even in my wwd street tired gtp.

In the end, it costs the same for me.
Its about an hour or more for me to drive down there, and an hour back. That in gas is now easily coverd by taking 18 north for 20 mins and getting to etown.
I still dont understand how long Ive raced has to do with what track I pick.

you-picking a track to watch from the stands in
me-picking a track on how many runs I get, track prep & overall consistency of the track.
