that's a big friggin octopus. that shark was about 4-5 feet long, so the octupus was probably about 7-8 feet in length.
damn and i thought that sharks had no natural enemies (aka every one is a big pussy to mess with one.) i wanna see a great white vs biggest octopus they got :lol:

That was pretty cool. Although I'd like to know why the shark seemingly gave up. Was there venom involved?

octopi are very strong, and some do have a poisonous bite. they have large beaks that can tear chunks of flesh off as well.
yea, i did a book report on them in like 4th grade. i think that the smaller the octopus, the more potent the venom, but i could be lying. i don't remember too well.

the blue-ringed octopus is the most poisonous. it's a decent-sized octopus, lives in tropical waters.

that's the one i was thinking of. i thought they were real small.

Much like the Giant squid. THere is bound to be a giant octopus. They have records of dead (great whites) nonetheless with suckers the size od basketballs.
