How can a school hire a teacher for a certain type of class that relies heavily on lectures NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!

Im sitting here at BCC in the tech lab, because I bounced out of my Intro To Physics Class during our 10 minute break. The teacher I got was not the teacher listed on the registration. This guy is straight from Mother Russia, and speaks poor broken english. I havent had a real Science Class in almost 5 years. Theirs no way in hell that I am going to pick up physics so quickly if I cant understand a man who barely speaks english and talks to his feet.

I feel dumb, because now I have to drop this class, since I know I wont be able to pass it, Today also happened to be the cut-off date for adding classes. This was the first day of the lecture class to boot, the Lab teacher barely speaks english as well, and he didnt even relize we haven't gotten our sylabus from this guy! I got royaly screwed today.

I have to wait till after my next class to talk to my parents about what I can do. I'll be down to 10 credits now, and I need to be full-time (12) to stay on my parents health care :evil:

there is a certain date that if u drop the class u;; stay on their insurance. Also u should be on the schools anyway. So just go to BCC if ur sick or hurt and fall and lay on the floor in the hall way n ull be coverd. lol. But yea that insurance stuff is Bull ****. All the damn professors that can hardly speak english piss me off.

1. No need to knock on the russians :lol:
2. How can they hire him? well the same way they hired pilots that barely spoke english, or the ATC personal that had ablsolutely no idea what runway i should land - i mean those things are pretty unsafe, if you ask me. Imagine you flying and they give you a "clear to land call" on the runway that doesnt exist, so you ask again and they do the same **** over again.

All i can say is **** happens, good luck.

my parents are foriegners so i understand people with accents very well. last year i had a asian professor who barely spoke a lick of english. i played translator for the cute girls in class 8)

After some convincing from someone I think Im just gonna suck it up. I guess I was just loosing my patience, being its a 3 hour class.
