And it sucked. We got losted going up because the car I was following had no clue how to read directions. Next thing I know we're at the hotel at 11pm, not too bad but we have to wake up at 5:30am to get to the track which is still a half hour away. Grab breakfast, no time for shower, go to the track and watch my buddy drive his SHO past all of the BMW's in his class (novice). It was a BMW event so I almost puked... instead I fell asleep around noon and didn't wake until my buddy's last session. We got in car video with a 16:9 camera which is excellent! Lots of pictures and even some rain for a few wet laps. All in all not terrible but I've never seen so many rich caucasions (BMW owners). There were of course the Asian's rockin the silver BMW's, lol and there was one FAST super light old m3 that was bad ass. He was turning the best times and was n/a. Carbon fiber everything, Tim, you would have been impressed. He did a clean job with it and apparently is sponsored by TireRack.
So yeah, I just got back and I'm beat tired from getting like no sleep and driving 380 miles only to watch the same slow cars go around a track. LimeRock, however, is BEAUTIFUL. I walked all around the inside track and took pictures. It's set in the mountains and it was very plush/green. Basically the inverse of Montgomery township. If you're ever thinking about signing up for a $250 driving session do NOT go to Beaver Run for your first... this place is way better and closer. That's all, g-nite.

I went to Lime Rock last year to see the CTS-V twins run. Caddy invited me, and we had a big sit down lunch thing with the drivers. Got to sit in them, hear them run....shexy!!

...Caddy didnt invite me this year. :(
