we eliminated one weekend with the other poll and we got rid of saturday with this poll. Â*no sense voting now, as the date is set (stupid me didn't set a time limit, and i can't edit it out now).

i really want to maximize the attendance to this once, let's see if we can get more than 5 cars together, huh?

afterward we can go get something to eat or a couple sudsy beverages. Â*location looks like it will be mercer county, most likely in the trenton area. Â*i am in discussion with park management trying to nail down usage of one of our state's beautiful public parks.

i'm open for suggestions. it only has to have a parking lot, or be a long enough stretch of road that we can get the cars lined up for shots. it would be perfect, in my mind, to have a backdrop of leaves changing colors, which is why i suggested this time of year. we all have pics of our cars in the summer time, or in the dead of winter under a foot of snow...

im down if like you said its somewhere nice thats easy to get to. i really dont wanna take my bird all the way up to north jersey. somewhere in the middle of the state seems fair, looks like its up to one of the central guys to scout around.

that's the problem, not many want to show up just to take pictures.

i was thinking something off of I-195 - right in themiddle of the state, and there are plenty of bergs around that have both types of locations that i mentioned above. trouble is, it's gonna cost me to go look around, too. i was hoping for a reprieve with the gas prices, but Rita took care of that.

we could have one of the trenton guys go look around...

time wise should be something after 2:00 p.m. it lets those that did indulge the night before get the cobwebs out of their heads and an hour or so to find the place. of course, nothing is set in stone and it might depend on the parks (if there are other events planned that day).

Well since friday i spent 90 bucks on gas, i dunno about you but that alot of money for just gas, you know. Actually ive driven my car to Daytona beach, Florida and back so i'm not scared to drive far away, its just that i dont have extra money right now...

i did my best to find a central location. it's not up north in some obscure berg. it's not down south near cape may. it's in the middle of the state, in an area that has lots of f-bodies.

still waiting to hear back from park management.

still an hour north of me, and my car is probably less streetable then most, no excuses. j/k. i might have two other guys coming with me to come just for the sake of cruising, but not with f-bods, any one mind?

I was forwarded your request for a photo shoot on Oct. 8th, 2005. It would not be a problem for your group to come out here for the shoot, there would just be some minor paperwork for you to fill out. I would also need more details regarding the amount of cars, time and what area in the Park you had in mind.

The only downside of the date you chose is that it is Columbus Day weekend and we are hosting the Hamilton Twp. Columbus Day Soccer Tournament which is one of the largest and busiest activities we have out here. The 8th (a Saturday) would be the first day of that.

Your biggest obstacle would be contending with the couple thousand other cars that will be driving and parking on any available space that is clear.

Are there other dates that would work better for your group or is the 8th the only option?

gd it, i knew there was going to be some obstacle. the "largest and busiest activities"...

i need someone close to give him a call. just PM me and i'll give you his number. you have all of the info i have, now with his email included, so it would just be a matter of trying to get a certain area (you'd have to go to the location to scout out a locale) and getting it roped off so we could have enough room for the amount of cars (i would estimate 25, probably less, but as the date draws near it seems more want to be involved) we would have there. if no one will volunteer by the end of the day today i will go out to the location tomorrow and then call him on monday.

add another week and you'll definitely make it, right?

i think it would be prudent to add a week, seeing as they have their columbus festivities next weekend. that, and the weather this week being in the 80s, and the leaves aren't going to be the proper color by the weekend. hang on to your hats, tho, 'cause this upcoming week will be bringing in air from the dakotas - and it's snowing on them.

so, to those that would be able to commit to this coming weekend, how's the following weekend look for you? to those that wouldn't be able to do this weekend, how about next? given a week of temperature like we're going to have the leaves are certainly going to cooperate...

. 15/16 are bad and 30/31 is holloween weekend, so my suggestion is either 23/24 or the first weekend in november.
