haha, i am actually a little young to really appreciate it at its full, i am only 22, but got to go to the memorial show last year, awsome time, for a horrible reason. i hung out with a lot of older guys and they got me into it. bitchin camaro is a song by the dead milkmen, never made it too big except for the song "punk rock girl" which i actually seen on mtv years ago

my car is 300lbs heavier in the front, i just wieghed it two weeks ago, topped the scales at a hefty 3580. so i have to put the car on a diet

12secondv6
09-20-2005, 06:30 PM
How do you know it is 300 pounds heavier in the front?

bitchincamaro
09-20-2005, 06:41 PM
i pulled the front half of it on the scale, then the whole car then the back, it'll give your a ball park estimate it said the front was 1900 and the back was 1600 and 3580 as a whole, supposedly the scale was off about 100 pounds on the heavy side

Haven't you ever even LOOKED at a 2nd gen  There is NO ass end to them, if it wasnt for the rubber bumper you could probably pick it up with your bare hands. (ok, not quite)

low 11s in a car that you havent really taken anything out of? im impressed! I can barely get mine into the 12s, and it weighed right aorund the same as yours did, but with a bunch of junk in it.

Defenitly one Bitch'n Primered Maro. I can dig it 8)

Welcome

bitchincamaro
09-20-2005, 07:00 PM
no i took alot out, lack of, heater air rear seat, front inner fender wells, fiberglass hood, aluminum wheels, and got rid of alot of stuff behind the dash, i also have a 10 pt cage though so that put alot of the weight back in. i have a donor car that i am taking the body panels off and cutting the weight from the doors, and going to cut the majority of the front bumper but keep the overall structure for support. the car sounds like a racecar, but its only been on a trailor less than a handfull of times. i drive it regularly, not dialy, but alot. and we never confirmed low 11's yet either

79CamaroDiva
09-20-2005, 07:04 PM
this donor car... you wouldnt happen to have a driver front fender in good shape off of it would you? mine got smacked by some douchebag that wouldnt even admit it. :(

bitchincamaro
09-20-2005, 07:08 PM
yea, but i am actually keeping all the panels, do all the str, and prime and cut them in so i dont have to take any metal off my car untill i am ready to switch and paint the car as a whole, i will eventually have an extra set of doors, hood front bumper cover trunk lid, glass, t- tops, everything but the shell, chassis and susp. sorry, i'll keep an eye out for you, i was looking into another roller, the guy told me 200 for whatever i want or the whole car, he said its in fair shape, if you want i could maybe try to find him.

hey, welcome to the site! I like your car, I kinda have a soft spot for second gens. I had a 76 but now Tim (njspeeder) owns it. glad to see some older muscle joining up. maybe you can make it to some of the meets and we can have a look at that beast.

hmmmm, this guy vs. rj? just a thought.

bad64chevelle
09-20-2005, 09:35 PM
i dont think rj will stand a chance...

Ian
09-20-2005, 10:27 PM
It would be interesting. This guy would definitly rip him out of the hole, but rj might pull him in down the track. And if it were from a roll, I'd definitly give it to rj.

bitchincamaro
09-21-2005, 12:14 AM
what does rj have? i might not even run low 11's yet either... maybe i just leave off a trans brake or something? (if i did have one and went slower than 9's i'd be upset, but that is besides the point).
