I was surfing the new Pontiac website, and I see that I can build my own Solstice. So I wanted to see how much a fully loaded, or near fully loaded Solstice is.
Well, as I load up the options such as 6 cd in dash, XM radio, Limited Slip, all power options, ABS, with AC...

24.6k Thats IT!! My Maxx was 23.5!!!!!!!
Only problem with the Solstice is that the nearest one that matches that is in CT. There are NONE in NJ, which is odd since they are made in Deleware?
The other problem is the insane mark ups these cars are getting. People are reporting 5, 10, and near 20k mark ups, thats 45k for a Solstice!!
Anyone wana take a stab at what OTHER 2dr sports car is priced at 45k? And it aint packing no 4 banger.
That further pisses me of that GM has zero control over this. Things liek this will continue to hurt Pontiacs new models. GM dealers have some heavy nerve to mark up a car. Im not saying that they arent worth the cash, but after years of rebates and discounts, to have the balls to mark UP a car!!! I dont understand how they sit down with balls so big.
Ill never understand it, but I knwo one thing is that Sky's will be launching out of dealers thanks to Saturn's No Haggle pricing.

the shame of it all is that GM has all teh control they want ove rit, just not the common sense to do it.
if anyone thinks GM can't tell dealerships what to sell a car for i point you towards saturn. other than minor market adjustments all cars were sold for a set sticker price very years.
GM jsut has to lay down the law and decide they want to move units instead of trying to be trendy. cause the money they need is in sales, not image.

That doesnt matter, dealership will send someone there and they'll get it to you in a day or two. Our dealership sent people to Boston to get a damn Murano
