I was talking to somebody today and he has an SLP torque converter he bought back in 96 for his 96 Z28 and never got around to installing it. It's new and he no longer has an F-body so he's looking to get $200 for it. He had no idea what stall it is. Is there any way to tell from any stampings or #'s on it? He's here in NJ so I can get you in touch with him if anyone is interested.

SLP sells TC's that are tuned to their applications. usually about 1000rpm higher than stock stall. a noticeable gain and still extremely streetable.

Jeff, Can you check the part number? Â*Only one I see listed on SLP's site is pat munber 60100. Â*It's a 2800 stall for a 85-94 F-body. Â*I'm looking for one for a 97TA hint hint :)

John, it's Eric (EAZE E 96Z) that has the torque converter. Ron said he already put in a tc along with his coated headers and 3 passenger side gaskets. I'll shoot him an email to see if that's what is stamped into it. It sounds familiar.
