In the works: Golen Competition 383, AI Trick Flow heads and custom Solid Roller. Shooting for 600+ on the engine dyno.

I guess you still couldn't get stuff straightened out with it?
That sux man, but the future plans sound even more interesting. I hope you are gonna save enough cash for the 12 bolt....

Actually, 12 bolt and Paintjob WILL happen next spring. Motor is going to be the slow progress item this time. Top end is going to be done first, then paid off. Then bottom end will be built around the top end.
I honestly don't anticipate running again until late spring to even early fall next year. Of course, if the local engine shop can fix my old one, I should be able to get a fair amount for it. That would help things along immensely.

*IF* the old motor is repaired, how much do you think you would be selling it for?

Probably asking in the area of $4-5K considering it'll be a long block with custom cam, ported manifold, 500 mile old shortblock. The motor should put down 410-420 RWHP and about 370-380 TQ the way it's set up.
We'll know in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping to get the motor over to the shop sometime soon.
