Well, In my other thread, I talked about the 81 Bronco, but it hasnt started. My grandfather and I were perplexed as to why it didnt start. It was very weird. He drove it from the Grand Canyon, to York, PA to meet us for the Camaro, and then he drove it from York to my house where he parked it in my driveway. Then, he moved it and parked it in teh street.
The next day, we go to start her up...no start.
My grandfather has had this car forever up and down every nook and crany of North and Central America, and it never ONCE gave him trouble...and now, as it sits on a suburbian road in the middle of NJ, it does not start.
Well, a 15 dollar cap and rotor fixed that problem real fast. Now, starts no problem. Its a cool truck, and has served my grandfather great over these years. This truck our family will most likely sell, because we now have 7 cars and 4 people that drive. But before that, I will fix her up and I want to have a little fun with her first. Here are some pics of it.

Now this is interesting. Now since he has this truck in all parts of this Continent, if he needs help, he is on his own. Example, if he needs to fill his tires with air, where is the nearest gas station with an air compressor in the middle of the Baja Desert? Well, he had an air compressor installed that runs off the accessory drive. Its pimp!! He has other little devises and gizmos int he truck to make it a true self-sufficent truck.
Here is the air coupler

My grandfather had installed a 45 gallon gas tank so that he can go long distances. He also have 4x 5 gallon aux. military fuel tanks that can help him get to civilzation. He can do this because he does not pay for hotels. He sleeps in the Bronco. As you can see in the below picture, there are 2 beds and in the middle are the gas tanks. Under the cot/beds there is a specail storage area that he keeps things. Also he has a fridge for food, and he has container for wine, cause thats all he drinks.
