So i picked up another model from the Arts & Craft store, a 1969 Yenko SC Coupe Camaro. Ive built one before but what would be an interesting color scheme? I really want to try it with flames and have it work.

I was thinking Gloss Black w/ Silver Flames
I have this Copper Red metalic w/ Silver Flames
Copper Red w/ gloss/flat black Flames
Gloss black w/ Copper Red Flames
Ive already done a Lemans Blue Yenko (Like 2F 2F)

Any other interesting colors? It already has TT2 style wheels.

I have the same 69 super bee! It was one of my nicer ones so I had it on a shelf out in the garage. When I was laying primer down on the Chevelle I forgot to move it and now it and my 64 GTO have primer all over them...:-(

damn that really sucks, you just got to be more careful when you paint around them. By the way, hom much time and efforet does it take you to put in these models? For future models, I am going to take more time and put more effort into my models. If you looked at the 3 models I linked above, I think they turned out well. And I did each of those models in one day, now thats quick...lol. They turned out good for one days worth of work.

I take my sweet time with my models, I usually start them when Im really bored. First thing I always do is soak the plastics in windex, then warm water, and hand dry them. Then I spray paint them and I have to force my self NOT to touch them for at least a full day. Usuall 1 - 2 coats gets me what I want, then after then I start to build by the directions and take brakes from the fumes!

the copper and silver stripes would look nice. I've been wanting to go pick up another model..my '55 chevy came out pretty good for a first time doing a real model.
