I like them all but my favorites are the:
1. 67 & 68 Firebirds
2. 67 & 68 Camaros
I liked the look of both Firebirds a little bit better than both Camaros. Overall, I like the 68 Firebird because it had the looks and it was faster than the 67 Firebird and 67-68 Camaro.

I always like the 91-92 camaros the best...
Im partial to 91-92 Firebird's. I love the styling of my t/a, but would love it more if I got the ws6 hood and rims on it.
But, the 98-2002 t/a bodies just look so mean to me .... :)

74 to 84 are the darkest years, IMO, for fbodies as far as style, performance, and all the other things, some models withstanding. Moves like Smokie and the Bandit hyped up the TA, but outside of that, I find nothing attractive or seductive. Not saying they are ugly, just that I find no desire to ever own one, and that they dont look as good as other model years. This also applies to 98 to 2002 Camaros. Again, not ugly, but not as beautiful and downright sexy as other pervious model years. I only included the early 4th gens because they were the first to explore the design, but by 98 GM should have changed the design. But do to lack of funds, amung other things, GM no longer supported the Fbody program.
Please, dont bother flaming, Ive heard it all. This is just my opinion.

'69 camaro RS/SS 396 (or COPO 427)
'67 camaro pace car convertible
'76 trans am (black 'n' gold)
'82 camaro pace car
'93 camaro pace car
'02 camaro SS
i'm searching for a second gen and the '82 pace car. i haven't found what i want in a second gen yet, and the '82s are slightly expensive - i haven't found one under $4500, and that one didn't have the graphics/lettering and needed LOTS of work.
i'll never own a COPO, probably never have an RS/SS 396, but it's nice to dream. in the meantime, i can butcher my car to my heart's content because it's only a base coupe. i'll likely not alter the sheet metal at all, but suspension/rubber and a beefier motor wouldn't affect aestetics a lot.
the fourth gens need to go down a little more before i can afford one, especially one of the more rare SS models.

1967 Firebird 400 Ram Air= the sexiest.
1968 Firebird 400 Ram Air= nasty side marker lights in the back.
1967 Trans Am = Not as good as the 67 but better side marker lights then the 68.
OoO and all these are coupes not convert.

I didnt know that there was a 67 Trans Am
if my memory holds out, i don't think they were called "trans am" until 1969. although they were originally created for the trans am racing series, they were initially just called firebirds. funny how everyone wanted to associate themselves with the trans am racing series, even dodge had a model tagged the T/A.
jim wangers, the pontiac guru, set it all straight in one of the "American Muscle Car" series episodes. that man has forgotten more about those cars than most men will ever know. btw, if you have a few minutes, this is an enjoyable nostalgic bit (http://www.jimwangers.com/) on jim wangers' website.
