With a garbage truck that is :-D
Anyway, I was picking up a garbage truck at the towship garage after getting an air valve replaced. The truck I was picking up was the ****tiest one in our fleet. I need the passenger mirror the most, but this one is warped. So at the angle I was backing the truck out, I had to do a half K-turn to get out, and the spot i was backing up into is right along side the garage. Well, there was an employees car parked on the passenger side of my mirror and by the looks of it I was gonna plow into it in reverse. So I stopped, put the truck in 1st gear and pulled forward. Little did I know, I crunched the corner of the garage. Its suprising cuz I didnt hear or feel a thing. After I pulled up I realized I hit the garage (after I saw 5 co-workers flagging me down! LOL) . I scoped out the damage, which was pretty bad. If I was just about 3 inches closer I couldve taken down the corner beam that holds that side of the garage up. Luckily no one was injured and I didn't have to fill out an accident report ......... yet ;-)
Im actually kinda proud cuz all the times I drove I wanted to hit something important, just for the purpose of learning from mistakes. Not like a car but more like a lightpost, or a fire hydrant, or anything small like that. I admit I am prolly the craziest drivers there, if its swerving in and out of lanes, or supershifting the 8 speeds while grinding the shifter down 8-) [/rant]
