haha... no 2 steps... DEFINATELY no craig

the V6 guys have that advantage and still fall under "foot brake" rules because that is a function of the stock computer. can't legislate against factory equipment and still stay with in the spirit of these rules.
congrats bill, you found a loop hole that can't be closed.

I think you are all scared.... you don't want me to beat craig ;)

First matching passenger seat from last year.

You changed it to passnger seat now... which is ok... but add windshield wipers???

 Well.... I DEF ain't putting wipers in!

NJSPEEDER
12-06-2005, 02:57 PM
the seats didn't have to match last year, we even made a point of telling you that many times over.
teh wipers are a carry over as well. the rules are just clarified a bit more(as requested byseveral people). last year it was a more generic "street running gear" listing in most threads

im thinking just use a back seat as a front seat lol...if it doesnt have to match...i mean its still a "seat" in the front lol but they weigh like 1/2 lb...then just zip tie the wipers onto something lol

if you can get it mounted safely and securely in the car it would count. teh rule is it has to be a full size seat, for an adult.

NJSPEEDER
03-27-2006, 03:25 PM
it will be able to get through tech fro our event. you may want to consult the NHRA rule book though, i am not sure what the safety requirements are for gates.

i just recently drove from Daytona Beach FL to North jersey, 1100 miles and it took me 14 hours so stop making excuses!

put your tires up to 50psi all the way around, jump on RT95 north, and set the cruise at 70. you will be here in no time :)

70? are you kidding me, that would take almost 20 hours to get here.

NJSPEEDER
04-01-2006, 07:11 PM
1100 miles @ 70mph = 15.71 hours.

is the calculator on the space station going bad or something?

coming home from the rolex24 at daytona last year we went 70-80 the whole way and made it in about 14hours. there are stretches of 95 that you can easily get away with 80+ depending on traffic too if you wanna make even better time

just have to time when you go through the DC area and the jacksonville area. the rest of the trip i never really had any traffic problems.
jacksonville only sucks because of the eternal construction.
as far as the stops go, i stop for a meal and pee break at the end of each tank of gas. i don't usually eat in the car unless i am in a big hurry.

yea jacksonville blows anytime when the sun is up. and i always get stuck in VA too where the highway is all curvy and stuff. it seems like there's always an accident there...

NJSPEEDER
04-02-2006, 05:53 PM
last time i was on my way to daytona it took an hour to clear the about 15 miles through jacksonville. it was an f'ing mess. unfortunately any path that could avoid that strectch of rt95 woudl involve going 2+hours out of the way, so you are kinda screwed either way.

Savage_Messiah
05-14-2006, 02:13 AM
yea good luck with that one

he also refused to put anything resembling a seat in the passenger side

project89
05-14-2006, 05:41 PM
lmao, i may just have to go massive wieght reduction and run in a diff class then
lol the system alone is 450-500 pounds
with me in the car with the system it wieghs 3850 with a full tank

Savage_Messiah
05-14-2006, 07:41 PM

Any room for a 4,000 pound V8........not much faster (lol)!

Wish we could get a class like that down here, and in fact, I may just post up to stir more interest locally!

ok well since i have the 2 step and nitrous, can i just remove the bottle from the car and leave the solinoids and plumbing in the car.as for the 2step can i just unhook it from the msd box.and is my c02 intercooler sprayer legal(using meth injection also)

NJSPEEDER
05-25-2006, 06:31 AM
meth injection is considered a cheimcal intercooler by most sanctioning bodies. since we have no limits on intercoolers it would be perfectly legal.

project89
05-26-2006, 02:26 PM
i knew the meth inj was legal,my concern was over using the meth and co2 together.any chance there are any specific rules on were the tanks can or cannot be mounted for meth/alc injection systems? caus ei know theres specific rules for fuel cells, and im quessing that its a possibility a methanol or alchohol tank would be considered a fuel tank?

12secondv6
05-26-2006, 03:03 PM

Yup.
