if you don't want custom your choices are your stock cam and a stock LT1 cam. you may be able to get away with your stock cam on 1.6 rockers, not 100% sure on that
why under is it important to stay under .475 lift?

depending on the year the lt1 is 500+/- with stock 1.5's so itll be way over 475 with 1.6's

Because I dont feel like having these heads machined.

then save your money. the price per pony of such a small cam would be better spent regearing or throwing a higher stall into the car.

what LT1 cam was over .500? f-body was .450/.450 for the 275hp rating and then .450/.460 for the 285hp

Waitwiaitwait... You mean to tell me you plan on using STOCK vortec heads with any cam other than a STOCK vortec 350 cam? Stock springs, guides, pressed-in studs and all? Boy-oh-boy thats a recipe for disaster.... You cheap out on getting them set up properly with the right springs and you'll just be spending 10x as much when one of those crappy stock springs breaks and sends a valve into your cylinder.
