something about the rear rollers make it look odd to me...

something about the rear rollers make it look odd to me...

maybe that is because the tires are too tall and stick out too far and look really redneckish?
body and interior look nice, but the stance kills it.

I like the stance. And the rear tires arent sticking out past the edge of the quarter panel lip, so its not true redneck style.

But it's restored to look like it did in the movie and that's the stance it had in the movie.

It is an RS, note the headlight covers 8)

It's an RS/SS and the stance mimics the old TA Challenger and AAR Cuda. Tim would rather hang with the ricers and lower his cars until they scrape on the ground! :typeR:

except the stance is '70s. and it was cool.

Nothing wrong with a beautiful 1967 RS. Dig them sail windows!

That is the late 70s look. Biggest meats you can shove in, raise up the rear. I prefer the stance of the red one in Jims' sig above.

yeah, there was actually a reason for doing it. better weight transfer and traction. they also were big on air shocks. pop the trunk and there was a valve stem like on tires that you could connect a gas station air hose to. i had them on the '72 grand ville. had to readjust the headlights after jacking it up in the back, but no biggy.

the stance in my sig closely mimics the actual stance of my car. ok, it's a bit lower than my car, probably by an inch up front and 2 out back.

that's exactly what i've got in the rear of my Z28 :)

The a/s probably cost more than new springs would have, and were probably harder to put in. :)

but the cool factor outweighs all of that.
