Wow, that seems kinda high. Granted it was for my POS Hyundai, but I paid $40 for the front end.

You want cheap.
You want good.

I wouldn't bring it to a **** shop.

I fully trust them

He is sooooooo the wrong person to ask for directions.

Although, since it's car related, he may actually do ok.

But I warn you, get directions elsewhere, lol.

$20 says that's your best bet. James and directions do NOT get along...even with his gf AND the navigation system telling him where to do, he does not follow...and unless the sign is in 1000 pt font he won't see it to follow it. :)

Haha, I'm guessing he means the BK in Park Ridge, which is right on kinderkamack, I've never been to a shop back there but if you are going north on Kinderkamack make a left onto the street right b4 BK and it's probably on there.

Bob's tire and wheel, goffle Road in Hawthorne. My dad is good friends with Bob, we use him for tires and alignments. The body shop I worked at also used Bob for alignments after cars were done on the frame machine. If you go there, tell him you know Ted.

I used to do my own alignments, havent done one in about 3 years. but as for shops around here, youd sorta want one with a computerized alignment machine. i dont know fo any honest places so ill just tell you NOT to go to mobil at the cresskill circle or sunoco in dumont

Never liked the idea of getting service done at a place that's primarily a gas station anyway

Worked tonight, made 64 plus have some comin on the check plu shave some in the bank so as long as i didnt break anything and just need an alignment i set with the cash... I think on Monday I will check out this place Ted is telling me about and give a call to a place Matt recommended in Bloomingdale (they said all alignemnts come with a before and after printout so i assume theyve got a machine). Ted (or Jake), do you know if they used computerized machines? any idea on his prices?

While we're on the topic it's still a mystery to me... what exactly is involved in an alignment?

most places are computerized. that place is computerized as well. i think i have their business card too.

well i had it. just look it in the bergen county yellow pages. they werent too expensive and they found something else wrong with my car and fixed it while they were at it

kasey you might also wanna check for:
frame damage
bent tie rods
leaks in steering rack
play in the hub assembly
any other damage to suspension parts such as a-arms, struts, and all the joints and fittings.

i hit a curb once and i didnt think nothing of it. had it checked out to find mad problems underneath. dont read directions and make a turn at the same time. it doesnt work

You never know

It was 10 mph impact..... of a 3400 pound object

V

well this car hit a median at 25-30mph..
http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/668000-668999/668312_59_full.jpg

but you may have bent a tie rod or something simple like that if you just bumped a curb. That blue z28 has more extensive damage like k member a arm and shock, oh and the rear is also bent in the car. I'll get to fix that z28 this week I hope.
