I think my parents would **** a brick. They are already against the idea of my brother building a nice shed in the backyard...not sure why though.

cause the garage doesn't even stay cleaned enough to be useful, you don't need a shed full of **** added to it. :p

Garage and clean never go in the same sentence at my house. Unless its "Get your ass out there and clean the damn garage!" Yeah those steel buildings are awesome. As are the 4 post lifts they are awesome, and by far the best investment we ever made.

very nice. My dad has plans to build a garage in the backyard..hopefully we'll be doing it in the spring. It's wooden, has a loft, 2 doors..it's 2 cars deep. Keep the vette and the donzi in there and prolly all the bikes. heat, running water, compressor lines throughout the walls. Upstairs will be our pool table, a bar, TV, our darts..kind of like a game room. Also, I'm trying to convince him to get like a 5 ft lift :-D

I wanna remove the above ground pool in the back yard and put like a 30x20 garage there. I think the only reason my dad doesn't want to is because he doesn't feel like it.
Im sure when I bring a backhoe into the backyard and level it hell change his mind. Or, my original plan was to shoot a arrow through it, its a bet that i have that I can get it to shoot out the other side of it...

my buddy who i posted about in the north fourms who bought the used car dealership has a garage on site which he doesnt use. it has a lift (the kind that lifts the car from the 4 jacking points), a heater, and a air compressor and some other little tools here and there that the old owner left in there. i'm gonna be getting the key from him soon so i can just drive up there and use it when i need to. eventually i'll get to moving my camaro up there so i can start doing some winter work.

Mom has charged Tyler and I with a new project: She wants the garage turned into a family room for the kids to play in, and she wants us to build a large by huge shed/garage out back. Ty and I figure a nice 20' x 30' loosely divided into three 10' x 20' sections with a 10' ceiling would be good. Of course, it will prolly all get built just in time for both of us to move out, but we both plan on staying in the area, so we'll just drop by and use the place whenever.

I'm still trying to convice my mom she can relocate her garden (those who have been to my hosue know what I mean) and convince my dad we should build a garage 3 cars wide (car and a half for each car works) and as deep as possible, and get a nice 4 post lift in there... and HEAT.
Hey, I can dream right?

oh wait, I'm talking to the kid who was couldnt tell something was wrong backing out of my CLEARLY ANGLED driveway and whose rear drivers side tire was 2 feet up on a damn hill trying to back straight out before I stopped him and said what the hell are you doing and explained that he was driving off the driveway onto the lawn/hill on the side of the driveway thingy...

Something like that would be kind of cool. I'll take one with radiant floor heating. But I want a 2 post lift (or 1 on each). Cars are too hard to work with on a drive on lift.
