serius is cool, a friend of mine said he pays 11 bucks a month. no commercials, and alot of music. Stern must be pretty confident in it also, his carreer is riding on it even though he could probably retire anyday now.

He is never happy with himself. He doesnt see himself as a success, always as a failure. Even though hes getting 500 million dollars over 5 years, He is very happy that this will bring his radio show to a higher level where he doesnt have to be censored. I just wish he went to XM, not Sirius.

I want the 10 minutes of my life back on the drive to work listening to him today. What a crappy end.
He is Meh in my book. I think once he knew he was out of K-rock he just didnt give a **** and the show went "limp"

I'm not a fan of him so I don't care where he goes.
I never cared for him, he always makes fun of people but when anyone says somethign about him, he makes a huge deal about it and bitches for days. I can't even make myself listen to his show on the radio, its too painful. but sometimes id watch his show on tv on the E channel just because of the girls, lol. but he was still an idiot. I have no plans to get XM or sirius in the near future.

:stupid:
I used to listen to him every day on my commute to willy p a few years ago. After he announced he was moving to satellite, that was ALL he talked about and it got real lame real quick. Since I started going to rutgers last year, I have listened to his show probably 4 times, and each time i had to turn it off cause all he was doing was bitching about the FCC and yada yada yada. I used to like howard, no more. I wonder what he'll bitch about on sirius.

Im sorta curious what he will do on there. I listen to him every once in a while usually when im driving back up to Rutgers on a Monday morning. He had some good stuff sometimes, but like you said once that whole FCC bitching marathon began I would turn it off.

his clash with the FCC was what put him on the map. he should be sucking their collective dicks instead of bitching about it. he has his shining moments, but to listen to him everyday? nah.

I'M glad hes going to Sirius and not XM. I like "Opie and Anthony" much more then him. Actually, I don't like his show at all.

OnA is definately a better show. once their ratings started to compete with the numbers howard could put up the stations started to wig out, even though they were in a difference time slot.
stearn was cool way back in high school. by the time i came home from college and heard teh show again i realized he was still telling the same joke. golly gee, naked chicks on teh radio. whoopity doo.

can't stand the guy. glad he's off my radio...maybe we'll get lucky and they will actually play music on 94.1 again (even though I doubt it).

Oh just one more thing I had to add to my little rant, I cant stand his corny promoting of all that crap! Its so BAD!

Up north on the flagship station K-rock, their changing to K-Talk Free Talk Radio :supergay: Their only going to play music on the weekends! You dont have it that bad..
K-rock is changing to Free FM. 94.1 already changed to Free FM. no music all week, just on the weekends. Infinity broadcasting is dumb for cutting off all the rock stations. David Lee Roth is gonna be a terrible radio personality. The only radio show I really like is the booker show, and they moved that to the 7-11 timeslot. :rollseye:
I'm gonna have to listen to either 93.3 WMMR or 105.5 WDHA. I'd listen to 89.5 WSOU, but I dont think my coworkers would like it too much

i heard a rumor that SOU was gonna go country next year. i hope it ain't true. only station where you cna here real metal instead of the MTV "metal" crap
If SOU goes country, I'm seriously going to move out of new jersey and find some other state with a good metal station.

Stern couldn't go to XM cause O&A already beat him to it. i haven't liked Stern since high school. O&A were way better. can't wait til i get XM for Christmas.
and if SOU goes country, peoples heads are gonna roll :axe: :fireguns:

Stern sucks... same **** over and over again. The show sucks too cuz they cant show the good stuff.
SOU I haven't listened to but only because of reception... well, thank god for CDs lol.
i like stern and O&A, but i haven't listened to o and a since high school before they got fired. it was great listening to stern on the way to school and o&a on the way back. i don't understand why there is such animosity from one groups fans towards the others...
i think stern is a genius and i love listening to his show, not just for him, but because he surrounds himself with funny people so he doesn't have to carry the show.

you lucky bastard you get both of them! as for stern i could give a ****, im just pissed as of 1/3/06 krock is no longer. since i found this mp3 player/radio in my chem class thats all i listen to whenever im walkin somewhere, especially the booker show. and wtf is up with a magician being a radio host? (Pen gilette)
pen is only on for an hour, so it shouldnt be too bad.
