i would recomend against putting 245's on a 9inch wide wheel. side walls will be stretched.

:stupid: it'll look very similar to your 275's on your rears now.

Yea, you're gonna want a 275/40/17 for the fronts.

I run 255/45/17 Nitto 555s on the front and 275 555DRs on the back with no problem.

The original Corvette GS with 17x9 & 17x11 called for 255/35/17's in the front with a 295/35/17 in the rear.

I wouldnt run anything smaller then a 255 in the front, its going to look real dumb. Just go with the 275/315 combo new.

yeah thats the price you pay for upsized tires, ive got 275fronts and 285 rears and my car tracks ruts like a sumbitch. on route 42 by the deptford mall its just downright dangerous since the cheap asphalt they used is rutted so bad, i cant even change lanes or i might shoot all the way off the road. just gotta hold on tight to that wheel!

I pegged the speedo and then some, (i guess you could call that high speeds) and it never swayed on me. Lemme tell you why it does that. any high traffic area on a road that hasnt been fixed, will develop some serious grooves in it. they also fill up with water when it rains. wider wheels will do that, since they dont fit in the grooves. that is whats causing your "swaying" on any other road thats not high traffic i had no problems. at high speeds 140+ never a problem. i know this because i had those same exact tires and rims on my car..
