holy ****, that is one helluva bell curve. i remember:
100-93 = A
84-92 = B
75-84 = C
64-74 = D
63 and below is failing.

they might've changed the rules slightly since i've been in school, too. now i hear you can graduate if it would cause "permanent and irreparable harm to one's psyche" to fail...

i just took the exam and it was so ridiculous. i didnt answer ~15 of the 55 questions and just put C for all of them. i heard last years exam was curved to the point where a 50% was a C so i'm not all too worried. but i doubt i even did that well.

ive never studied on my own for a final in my life...studying is bad luck IMO, i figure if i dont know it i dont know it...lowest i ever got on a final was a 78 in calculus, studying wouldnt have helped since i charmed my way thru that class anyway

Chem is the reason I switched my major back to art from animal science. I went to rutgers after willy p specifically because they had animal science. I had gotten A's at willy p in bio and chem because the prof's actually care about you, and there were only about 50-60 students in the class. At rutgers I had 500 in each bio and chem. I did miserable in them, busted my ass and only got a C.

Jim, a lot of grading is still like that. However in classes like bio and chem and a few others, they make it so rediculously hard that they need to curve so that everyone in the class doesnt fail (no, im not exaggerating on the everyone part). In my bio class, the highest grade on one exam was a 70-something. they made that an A, and I think all the way down to a 30 or 40 was passing.

but there are always those ******** that have to ruin the curve and get a perfect score on a nearly impossible exam. i would beat the crap out of all of them if i knew who they were

B 85-92
C 77-84
D 70-76
