I've been at the company for 16-1/2 years now and this year the bonus was easily more than double any previous bonus! We had a really good year as a company so they were giving out some nice bonuses. And to think my bank account was down to $29 just 2 weeks ago! Timing is everything. The real question will be how long it takes for me to spend it!:D

Well, I just spent more than half of it already by giving some to the shop working on the 69. But on an even better note, it looks like I do have a buyer for the crossram stuff and for even more than I thought to begin with. :D And I've already touched base with someone that has a very rare 1970 SS396/375hp Camaro for sale. 1 of 600 made and numbers matching and documented. I might buy it as an investment and to play around with since it's a solid car. Boy, that didn't take long to spend the money I don't even have yet!

you gonna drop the cross ram stuff on ebay? i woudl have what that guy offered you as the opening bid and have him jump on it. if it goes up from there you win, if not you sell it for that price and still win. :D

Nah, the guy is local enough that we can do the whole deal in person or through the shop and that makes it a ton easier for both of us.

Well, here's the car I might buy if I sell the crossram stuff. It's a 1970 SS396/375hp 4 speed car. 1 of 602 made and it's got GM of Canada documentation and has the original motor/trans still. It's the wrong color(should be Classic Copper) and the wheels and rear spoiler are wrong, but it would be a fun car to drive as is and watch the value climb.

what color is it painted now? the old copper is a sweet looking shade when fresh, doesn't seem to age well though.
i am assuming the wheels shoudl be rally's, prolly 14inchers on a '70.
what spoiler does it have on it? if i am not mistaken it should be the short and wide one piece spoiler, or no spoiler at all since i think it was still a seperate option line to pick up.

It's a non spoiler car originally and now has the 3 piece large spoiler which I don't like. It also originally had wire wheel hubcaps, no special wheels at all.
