I'm looking to rent a house for a week. not sure of which town, but we're open. just my wife and I, and our two boys (2 yrs and 7 mos). looking to do it in june or july. point pleasant, LBI, etc.
don't really care but house should have nice kitchen and be clean and very close to beach so i don't have to drive there.
if dogs are allowed, that would be even better.
if you know of any leads, hit me up.
thanks!

thanks man. i bet its sweet but above our budget. $1500 for the week is what i want to spend. that house probably sleeps 10-15. i need it to sleep 2 adults and 2 pip squeaks.

I know of a place in Seaside, it's not too bad of a house, usually runs aroun 1k for the week. it's not a whole house, more like an apartment... I can get you details if you wish

LBI doesn't have a boardwalk but in Beach Haven they have Fantasy Island which is geared for the kiddies with games, rides, water slide, mini golf. We've been going to a place just north of Beach Haven that is a nice house, 2 bedrooms for $750 a week. But it's 2-1/2 blocks to the beach itself. My friend has a place in the Pehala Park area on LBI that is around $1000 week and it's pretty clean, 2 bedroom. But he's 3-1/2 blocks to the beach and 4 houses to the bay on a street with a traffic light so crossing the blvd isn't too bad.

I love LBI, and there is TOO stuff to do there, good places to eat, nifty shops and whatnot, and fantasy island, of course. But i guess if you're not a beach bum, you might think it's boring. But it is really pretty downt here too, and even if you have a house by the bay, you can sit on top of the roof of your house and watch the sun set and all the lights and cars of the causeway. and if you wanna take a trip over to the seaside boardwalk for a day, it's not that far.

The worst part about LBI is all the New Yawkers that vacation there. Talk about obnoxious! Oh my gawd!

That is exactly why my wife and I love our LBI house. We are at the northern end of the island, which is even more boring than the southern end.

well i guess its nice for the old people to get away and stuff. it is quiet and everything closes at like 11pm. I was going there to party and stuff but upon arrival i found out that there's no such thing in LBI plus all the women were jailbate :-?

your best bet is to contact realtors in the towns you want to check out. they can tell you what houses are still available, the rates, etc., all the details.

when i want shoes, i go to a shoe store.
