I just dont want to blow it up due to the fact that i just put it all back together. Certain types of dynos can do that, I think you are thinking of a Mustang Dyno. TTP has a Dynojet...

It sounds like Garrett will be bring his Mini Cooper S up to dyno as well on Saturday. Anxious to see what that puts out as he has an intake, exhaust and a 17% pulley on it. :)

Thanks Matt, let me know soon because all I will need to do is change the oil, and a few other things before then. I think Jake (QwikZ) and I will be rolling together. Hopefully wont embarass myself with the numbers the car puts out. All I know is that I kept up with Jake that night to Atco and that made me a happy man!

my camaro is located an hour away from my apartment. my apartment is located an hour from clifton, which is then an hour from home. its one big triangle with 3 1 hour sides. I'll be bringing it back to the apt tomorrow night, then driving to clifton and home saturday. hopefully all works out.

if it rains i will most likely be rolling in the jeep. I spent WAY TOOOO LONG prepping the car for this event. As in cleaning wise. I spent almost 6 hours with clay baring and waxing. Too bad my car got dirty on the drive home.:sad: I made it 2/3 home before the rain started. I will say one thing, the 315/35 rear tires sure pick up a lot of stones and pebbles when it's wet out. But I had no problems with the tires spinning or sliding on the wet roads so that's good news. Now I have to wash the car and clean the white wheels again. It was a good time though.

179.75 RWHP, 204.52 RWTQ... assuming a 20% drivetrain loss (due to stock auto 3.8s normally dynoing in the area of 160 RWHP) thats about 225 HP and 256 TQ... not bad.

And I didn't break the dyno damnit, its not my fault their cable got messed up and they have to read RPM with the reflections off crank pulley method!!! :lol:

Matt, jakes car is not an LS6. its possible he has an LS6 block, but not the heads and cam.

what they said was that jake has an ls6 intake manifold, all 01-02 ls1s came with the ls6 style manifold.

thanks everybody for coming out. it was a great time and matt and the gang at ttp were more than pleased to host us.
i am also happy to announce that TTP will start appearing in the advertising banners at teh tops of the forums very soon. matt and i talked yesterday and he decided to jump on board with the club.
also a big thanks to the gang up at TTP for working with everyone yesterday. between spark signal issues when the V6's roughed up the equipment and having to work through the use of an optical to count rpm's, they certainly handled everything that the day could throw at them.
food was great, everyone was pleasant, and other than a few burnouts(to be covered in another post) everyone behaved very well.

qwik: Yep they definitely hate us. Call our friends, Clifton PD, all the time. We walk up, shake hands with the officer, b/s for a while and then they leave. We are actually doing Billy's El Camino who is a Clifton officer also. Big ole Procharger with chrome brackets, etc.
