just got things finalized for our february meet. we are going to be heading to the Texas Roadhouse in Millville on Saturday February 25th.

Date: Saturday, February 25th

Time: Start Meeting up around 11:30, Inside to east around 12:00

We have monthly meets that rotate from one section of the state to the next (North, Central, then South). The Central Jersey meet was last weekend in Ewing, but we are always looking for suggestions to places to hold the next meet.

Yeah except you can't just cross Delsea drive to get into the parkinglot you have to go to the next light and make a right on the Street to Walmart. Hopefully i'll have my QTP Headers installed before then :0)

delsea drive sucks i avoid it as much as possible, the easiest way to get off would be the mall exit off of 55 then come out on the road right across the street from tacobell and then make a left (whatever road that is...)

Also, I would try to be there as close to on time as possible because yesterday I took my family there for an early dinner roughly 3:45 and it was packed!!! But we went right in BUT when we were leaving there was roughly 50 waiting to be seated and not a parking spot left......Oh yea the food was great also!!! See ya's there....

the place actually opens at noon. we are asking everyone to try to get there around 11:30 if possible and head pretty much straight inside. there are expecting us to be there at noon, the sooner we are in and seated the easier it makes everything fo rus and them. :)

i do know a great mechanic, my old boss, and i could do the work myself. but this is all still warranty work that im not paying for. so i dont have that much of a choice. On thursday itll be 2 weeks they've had it. so far the changed a rad hose, fixed the rear pinion seal, and other small crap they found, and as of yesterday they were waiting on an actuator motor for the t-case and a 4x4 switch. I dont know if this warranty requires me to go only to a dealer or not, but im letting it go for now. but with my SS extended coverage, the warranty covers work done by any shop of my choice and will even pay if a job was just completed already. so in a week or two, my ss is going to my old boss's shop and hes dealing with the motor warranty for me.

When you get off at the exit it puts you right on rt47 south bound....So, just get to the left at the light like you are goin to Wal-Mart and follow the little rd that goes behind Canal's toward Pathmark and you will see the place on your left...

i just wanted to remind everybody that we will be accepting dyno day deposits, have t-shirts for sale, and we have a bunch of give-away junk here (Icamaro concept posters/tire shine/whatever else is laying around here) :D

It was fun, met a few people but since I'm not one to just walk up and introduce myself I didn't really talk to many people(I'm weird like that).

Yeah it was a good time. Saw some absolutely beautiful cars. Met some good folks -- everyone seemed friendly. I didn't get to talk to everyone as I spent too much of my time chasing my son but it was still a good time.

When that yellow Cobalt drove by trying to show off making some silly noise, he looked at it, pointed and said (and I quote) "That is just stupid". I have never been prouder of him.

it was a great meet. thanks for coming out everyone. i think teh final count was 21 f-bodies and 42 people. a very good showing.
thanks to the dealware crew for coming up and joining in the good time too. it was great seeing you guys again.
the name tag deal gets brought up every month and i keep forgetting, that happens at my advanced age. someone remind me before the next meet to pick up some "hello, my name is..." tags :)

thanks again everyone, look forward to seeing you all again in march.

Real good restaurant !! and a real good turn out, I hope The "name tag" thing happens soon, I felt a bit silly the few guys I knew did not show up so I just sat alone (yeah that was me the old guy!!:mrgreen: ) and ate my salad (It was an awesome chicken salad !!) and left a bit early to see a friend of mine in the hospital, I look forward to one day actually "Meeting" more of you !

Yeah the meet was definetly awesome. It was great to see First State come up as well. The cars were looking awesome and the food was real good. Worth the drive for sure. Good meeting everyone as well! Looking forward to the next meet.

Yea thats me. T 56 conversion done about 3 years ago. Was an auto. Plus many other mods. 1 LE brakes, 3.73's, tubular k-member. built 355, ZZ-9 cam, Vette heads, comp pro mag rr's. Stealth Ram is in the garage getting ready to go on next. Stop the madness, lol.

Food was awsome, met alot of people and saw lots of nice cars. We should for sure think about that place again in May.

considering how much everyone liked the texas roadhouse and the management invited us back with in 15mins of us walking inside we will definately be heading back there.
the manager actually asked for a few fyers to hang up in the waiting area and took pictures of all teh cars lined up to send to their corporate office to show off. :)
i will get in touch with them in the next week or so to set up for may. we may look to go someplace else for a meet in the fall jstu to keep some variety, but for now teh texas roadhouse is definately where it's at.

Great news! Glad to hear management was happy to accomodate us and welcomed us back. It's tough to find a place that is willing to do that. It was also nice we didn't have any ******** there that thought it'd be cool to lay a 40ft patch of rubber in the parking lot.

yea im kinda mad that i didnt get to eat there, i was hungry but it was for a good/bad reason that i was late (however you wanna think about it). all in all it was a good time, 2nd SJ meet ive been to..... and im from there :lol: thats cool that were invited back! next up TTP in clifton :D
