I'll be driving out there tonight (12 hour trip) and should get there by tomorrow noon. I'm planning on being at the actual show all day Sunday. If anyone has any requests for shots of cars I'll have both my digicam and my video camera. I'll also have my laptop, so I can upload as soon as I take them.

Let me know..

I'll try to. I want to try and see if I can get some underbody shots, but I'm not sure how close you can get or how picky they are as far as where pictures are being taken from.

12 hrs? Who is driving, grandma? You have already left, I hope, so I guess some knowlage about the roads wont help you.
Make sure you have a radar detector. Ohio is full of cops. Once you get into Mich on 75, its like the Parkway, just keep doing 85 and you will be fine.

I'll be at the NAIAS first thing monday morning, hopefully a few less people then thatll be there this weekend. My GF is bringing her dig camera with a memory card that'll hold 1250 pictures so she will have a bunch of pics of the camaro i'm sure. Maybe i'll even wear my "speedvision" collared shirt and see if i can manage to get right up to the car, hehe, i wish, but i doubt thatll happen. anyways, i'll also have her take some pics of the challenger and anythign else i see that is interesting.

Nice man. I'm actually here now, but I wont go to the show until tomorrow.

It didn't take 12 hours like someone up there said, but it was a slow trip. It was non-stop rain at first. Then to compliment that, it started snowing. It really wasn't until we got through Ohio and it was late morning that it cleared up.

in November 2004 i drove out to dayton ohio to deliver a load of parts i sold, well i drove my SS out there, straight drive, there and back. 11 hours out, 2 hours there and 11 back home. I managed pretty good, but on my way home it started snowing(in ohio already) and basically i was driving with the storm. Finally about 2/3 the way through PA i got in front of the storm and from then on i didnt slow down for ****. like 95 the whole way, that was an experience. At least tomorrow, i'm driving out in my denali, yeah the 4wd doesnt work right, but hopefully i wont need it, lol

Yaa, I took my 97 Camaro as well. I had 3 others with me, so I felt bad for them. I did give them the option of taking the 99 Jimmy instead, but they all came to the conclusion that it wasn't right not taking the Camaro and honestly, who am I to argue? :)

The down side of that though is that I'm the only one that drives stick, so all the driving was done by me.

I'm excited for the ride home as well. We're stopping at the AF Museum in Dayton, Ohio so I can check out the Raptor. Hopefully that won't tire me out too much to drive home afterwards.

Anyways, have a safe drive. There's a decent amount of construction, and if you end up doing the I-280 -> I-75 route you should know that 280 is actually closed. You'll want to take the exit for 795 and head west for about 5-10 minutes. It'll intersect with 75N and that'll put you right back on track.

There are signs that'll also tell you what to do, and for all I know it might be open by the time you get to it. Here's a link to the area I'm talking about:
