i was lloking through my CDs trying to find soemthing to listen to and found my Queensryche Greatest Hits.

got me thinking about bands i haven't heard about in awhile and figured i'm probably not the only one that does this form time to time.


anyone else got any bands they haven't heard about in awhile that used to be at the top of their playlist????????

ah queenstryche... funny you mention that band, when i bought my 95 bronco, it had recently had the major engine fire which burned everything basically in front of the steering wheel. The previous owner wanted the CD out of the in dash cd player if it was salvageable, well once i ripped it apart I maganed to pull the radio out, the rear harness connector was melted. I cut open the housing and founf that the CD was still intact and good, i cleaned a little smoke residue off it and it played fine. the guy was so excited to see that it was ok. ...sorry just had to share that story...

i think a lot of those bands are dead from drug ODs, lol

every once in a while i hear a peep out of the queensryche camp. just enough to keep them on the radar.

how about anthrax? stormtroopers of death/method of destruction? alice in chains? eric johnson? blues saraceno? i know there are more, but those are just off the top of my head. megadeth has been secretly releasing albums for a few years as they are downloadable with WinMX. probably the ones i can't remember aren't worth the thought or action to find out where they are now.

S.O.D & M.O.D. haha, i have a bunch of their albums.. i even got 4 or 5 Dead Kennedys albums, also green jello, bloodhound gang, screaching weasel, skatenigs...and others.

i did not hear anything about it. they were doing some local clubs a couple of years ago, caught them at the birch hill. there was a rumor that charlie was going to be present, but it was john bush. they still rock faces off. i took my wife; it was her first metal show. :evil:
