Im pretty sure a 4th gen y-pipe will not fit your 3rd gen. The cat-backs may be similar, but the deisgn and position of a 4th gen header/collector/catalytic converter will place the y-pipe either further back into the frame & just bang the floor boards in the wrong place. Just go to mufflex or exhaust shop and get a y-pipe fabricated, or buy one from Hooker.

it wont fit the 3rd gen is more to the pass side of the car and the 4th gen is more to the middel of the car. Im shure u can make it work but u will loose all your ground clearance

The mufflex pipe is I think $275 and its 3.5", its also "off road" (no cat) You're probably better off having a custom one made. It doesn't look too hard, so I imagine it wouldn't cost more than $100 or so.

Here we go: Last two on the page....I may just save up the cash and buy it when I get the super comps..At least that way I'm sure they're all welded properly and no leaks..and if I do have leaks, I can return it for a new one.

what would be better alumized pipeing or stainless steel or are they both the same?
