east jersey cruise to meet (TR area)

i'll be heading out in the '69 around 10:30 if anyone wants to meet up along the way. any of you TR boys heading out?

edit: bringing the '69 is going to be dependent on when the rain is supposed to start. if it's not supposed to start until late afternoon, then i imagine i'll be driving it. if it's supposed to start in the a.m., then i'll be in the wife's jeep. i'm assuming, of course, that today's rain is going to clean up the streets enough to not have to worry about salt on saturday.

We can meet up at the rest stop before exit 98, which will put us on 195 west, which will get us to Firkin

i had planned on 195 as well. is that north or south of exit 98? i'm hoping it's before the toll. do you even use the parkway to get to 195? i don't think i would, but it depends on where exactly in asbury you're coming from. if you're not using the parkway, then someplace on 138 would work just as well. i think i recall an auto body place on 138 between 18 and the parkway.

I guess we could meet on 195 Itself, but there is no major rest stop or area to wait for someone. Exit 98 puts you on 138 right there. Its a little out of the way for me, as I have to go south and then back north and west, but whatever is easier. James and Jim, let me know if you are coming, we can pick somewhere on 195 so that its easier for all of us.
Since the meet is at 12, lets meet up around 11.

Hrm, Jim I think the best place to meet up would be somewhere off 195. Somewhere off exit 28a or b...which ever is the one heading twards lakewood. there is a Exxon gas station that is on your right after you get off the exit ramp. We can meet up there if you want around 11ish?
