Just hope there's enough participation to warrant all these seperate classes. Do we really need 6 cyl, radial and DR classes? Why not combine them and get a few rounds in. No fun if there are 3 cars per class. What's the difference since it's bracket racing, I'd rather see a few rounds with some prizes going to 1/4 final then diluting the attendance.

all classes were evenly and fairly well subscribed last year when we used the same breakdown. we expect to see numbers in all the foot brake classes increase noticably for our second year.

Tim, for the drag radial class, any restruction on the front tires? Do the front have to be radials? Are Hoosier drag radials legal? Hoosier say "drag radial" on the side and have DOT numbers. The have 2 groves for tread. I was allowed to run these on the 'vette at E-town for the EFI event (drag radial class). As far a wipers go. I just pulled the arms and blades off and still have all the hardware, motor , switch etc. Can I just throw the arms and blades in back of the car or will I be forced to duct tape them on? Everything else in the car is legal for the event, seats , carpet, door panels, even the rear seat. Thanks :)

if the tires are radial construction, they are legal. i hope you are not refering to the QTP's though, those are bias ply construction. i thought the hossier radials had more than jsut two grooves around them? that sounds like the QTP tread patern.

Tim, I run usually run QTP's on the bird. These are a new product from Hoosier. Drag radials with the same tread pattern. Not slicks, not bias. DOT drag radial. The are a very soft compound. Look like a cheater slick from 10 feet away. The do have dot and say drag radial.

Hi, my 74 meets all the foot brake rules except carpet and it has alum door panels. It still has power windows and back seats, how bout we throw in a little extra weight to compensate, plus I go 260 lbs, otherwise I got to run with the electronic boyz? 74 z-28 12.15 on hoosier drag radials. Thanks,Steve
