How can a 255lb/hr Fuel Pump Help Me?

Just like the title says, what are some of the benefits of me upgrading to a larger fuel pump. Whats a pro vs. con of using a 190lb/hr?

My fuel pump is defenitly in its final days and is due replacement. What are some reasons to upgrade over stock? I need to convince myself on reasons why...

As the other stated, more fuel for future upgrades. Plus for a few dollars more you can move up to a complete system from racetronixs that will ensure more consistent pressure as well.

I recently ordered my walbro 255 lph from this distributor in ft. lauderdale FL, (should get here soon) But anyway, it's listed a helluva lot cheaper than granatelli in summit..with shipping it cost me $100. I'll get you the link if you want it.

the 255lph fuel pump is one of the pieces of a good foundation when building a strong car. if you plan on seriously bumping hp then you will need it so you might as well get it now so youll already have it when your car really needs it. you can either take down the axle and remove the tank, laborous really, or you can do what I did and cut a square hole in the top over the tank with a dremel. its not dangerous and does not ruin the car and allows you to have the job done in 1 hour. if you want I can get you a link to precise pics on where and how to cut. let me know.

EDIT: Got home and the fuel pump was sitting in my room, it got delivered today while I was at work. So def. order it from this place, cheapest place I've found.

Just to clarify.... 255 lph is liters per hour. That would correspond to about 400#/Hr of fuel. To put it in perspective, that's enough fuel for about 675 flywheel HP.
