So what color wheels will look best?

I just got another set of ZR1 wheels and the rears are 17x11. So I was going to paint them white to match the white SS to give the appearance of the 30th anniv cars. But I know that white wheels will show the dirt much worse than the silver wheels. So would you go with the white ZR1's or silver ZR1's on a white SS?

I vote white, but only if you paint the roof and B-pillar black. Aren't they supposed to be? I'm not well versed on 4th gens.

i believe the ss got them body matched because its the ss......kinda like v6's had their non body color mirrors...it was probably all options

all 4th gens prior to 2000 had black mirrors i believe

The 30th anniv cars definitely had white top and mirror. I think the SS cars got the body color on the top and mirror to pick them out from plain Z28's. My car has had areas repainted so it's tough to tell for sure.

hmm i dunno then..maybe the ls1 z28s and ss's went back to black mirrors only for 98 & 99

Im going to go with white. If the car had a black B-Pillar, then I would vote for grandsports.
