View Full Version : Anybody watch the Damgaard vs. Gatti?

If any of you are into boxing, you know how Gatti (39-7-30KO's) ends up in a fight... broken hands, bloody faces, severe cuts, etc etc... beat Denmarks so called "Felix Trinidad" named Tom Damgaard who was undefeated at 37-0-27ishKO's. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Gatti broke his right hand in the 3rd or 4th round and still kicked the guys ass, giving him a TKO in the 11th. VERY good fight :)

I watched it today... was a good fight. Gatti said he didnt break his hand, more like something with the ligaments. Only thing that was annoying was that the announcers seemed to be very biased towards Gatti, amost not fair to Damgaard.
I think if Damgaard had more punching power, Gatti would have been done for... Damgaard sure can take a beating though, that guy kept trucking pushing forward till the end. Was a good fight I think!
I was actually in AC yesterday gambling with my buddy, his co-worker got to work the fight they work for the local news channel NBC-40.
JW :D

Thats how the Irish were when Muhammed Ali went to Ireland to fight that one guy... they were very biased towards the other fighter, but Ali still came out with the KO.
It also doesnt help when Damgaard's corner tells him in the final rounds "Your losing, you have to knock him out"
